Some times it's constraining to delay a record till the time is right, this holds true for the ninth Counter Pulse vinyl. The raw materials have been ready for approximately 12 months boiling.

Manuva EP is the first vinyl release from Swedish born Alexander Johansson (Audio Assault / Compound) in 9 years. The record encloses two radically different tracks based on the exact same sound-palette, while part I is more centralized on muffled bass drums and dubby stabs, part II demonstrates irregular bass rhythm and hectic drum patterns.

We sought Damien Schneider (Apologue / Micropunto Schallplatten) to rework the dubby cuts of Part I to turn it into it's slamming counterpart. As for part II, who else would be better suited to remix it then Alexander's long time musical companion in crime Mattias Fridell (Gynoid / AFFIN).
